Complementary Therapy Training Courses is run by Gail Chamberlain and Una Cashin.

Gail Chamberlain holds qualifications in: Reflexology, Body Massage, Indian Head Massage, Orthopaedic Massage, On-Site / Seated Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Auricular Candle Therapy, Otoscopy, Anatomy & Physiology, Bach Flower Remedies and Phytotherapy.

Gail is a professional member of The Association of Reflexologists (MAR), The Irish Reflexologists’ Institute (MIRI) The Clinical Reflexology Association (MCAR), The Irish Massage Therapists Association (IMTA) and The Auricular Candle Therapy Association (MACTA).

Una Cashin holds qualifications in: Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, On-Site / Seated Massage, Kinesiology Foundation Level and Auricular Candle Therapy.

Una is a professional member of The Association of Reflexologists (MAR) and The Irish Reflexologists Institute (MIRI).

Gail and Una hold Certificates in teaching Adult Education. They are both experienced therapists and tutors. Both have busy private practices and are involved in corporate staff wellness programmes at several companies. They have both served for 3 years on the Education Committee of the Irish Reflexologists’ Institute.

Our courses run on a Saturday and Sunday from 10am till 5pm. Each course is 12 hours of contact teaching time. Our courses are currently accepted as CPD (Continuous Professional Development) approved by the AoR, IRI and IMTA. We are in the process of gaining independent accreditation for our courses with the Complementary Medical Association and have applied to the Ayurvedic Bodywork Consortium and The Seated Acupressure Massage Society.

On each course, students will both give and receive a full treatment. The relevant anatomy, physiology and pathology for each therapy are taught, along with the cautions and contraindications, full consultation practice and the benefits of each therapy. Students have the additional option of being registered on our website under “Find a Qualified Therapist” thus offering you a direct benefit of marketing and advertising. This is FREE for the first year after training, and a renewal fee of €20 will apply after one year.
